Modern computer viruses
Malina, Lukáš ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Pust, Radim (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis “Modern computer’s viruses” is composed from two mainly object (analysis computer’s viruses and suggestion of security middle computer network), separated for three parts: Analysis computer’s viruses, Personal suggestion of security personal computer end-user (computer terminal) and Personal suggestion of security middle computer network. Methods of transmission and infection, specific properties of viruses and impact upon personal computers are examined in the first part. Resolution of personal suggestion of security personal computer with help of antivirus software, personal firewall and antispam software is inducted in the second part. Futher, results of testing some free AV software and other security software are summarized with possible progress of configuration and recommendation for correct running this software. Complex suggestion of security middle computer network is adduced in the third part, where is inducted structure of security network. Configuration progression and recommendation for maximum security is indicated on particular used components. Structure is adapted for active network Cisco components, which are most used around these days. Completely suggestion of security network is directed on hardware firewall Cisco PIX, where is unfolded potential possibility of options. Futher, the third part contain some important tips and recommendation for completely working network, including setting security preference, security passwords and data encryption. Also, there is described various techniques monitoring and supervision working security network using complex monitoring software MARS (Cisco security monitoring, analyzing and response system) from Cisco company.

Barriers of rationality influencing decision making
Ječmen, Michal ; Vrbová, Lucie (advisor) ; Hájek, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this thesis is thanks to an executed experiment among students of Economical University in Prague identify barriers of rationality influencing decision making. For this purpose we executed a quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire specially created for this experiment that helped us test barriers of rationality in students' decision making. We examined three types of barriers: an anchor, an influence of "FOR FREE" and adding a decoy among other choices. For data evaluation we had used methods of descriptive statistics, such as mode, median and measures of variability that we subsequently used for the evaluation of data by tests of hypotheses to compare their outcome with our assumptions. We have proved the validity of the influence of the "FOR FREE", the effect of the anchor and the decoy we have not proved in this research. We also suggested the improvement of the research and options how to reduce the influence of barriers of rationality.
Behavioral economics - Relativity consumer choice
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ, Pavla
In my bachelor thesis I have focused on behavioral economics. It is a combination of economics, psychology and sociology. It examines the human as a being who makes mistakes. People's choice is influenced by several factors. I focused specifically on the decoy. This is an added non-dominant variant that affects the choice. With this decoy increases preferences for alternatives, which is dominant to artificially added options. In my thesis I verify this theory by experiment. I've reached 120 subjects that were split into two groups. The first group received a questionnaire with the decoy. The second part of the people received questionnaire without decoy. Each questionnaire included additional questions: whether the subject is male or female, whether studying or working, and what is the highest level of education. With these questions, I examined whether any of these factors influence the effect of decoy. The obtained data were processed in the Statistica using logit model. Processing was divided into two parts because of that some subjects chose our decoy, even though it was assumed that no one would prefer not. In the first part we deleted the preference for decoy, in the second part we combined number of result for the decoy with result to the dominant alternative. The results in both parts were very similar and showed the same information. It was a big influence what the questionnaire (with or without decoy) subject received. From additional questions have been shown the influence of the factor, which refers to whether the subject is studying or working, ie whether he has income or is dependent on a third person. The gender and educational attainment, we failed to demonstrate impact.
